We hope that this website will give you an insight in to life at our happy and successful Primary School.
Limehurst is a larger then average Primary School with a successful Nursery. It was opened in 1998.
At Limehurst meeting every child’s needs and educating our pupils for the future is a priority. We aim to guide all our pupils on the lifelong journey of learning. Our school ethos promotes a ‘no excuses’ culture and expects everyone, staff and children a like, to be the best that they can be.
We offer a wide range of activities in school and our curriculum is designed to ensure our pupils leave school as caring, respectful, tolerant and enthusiastic learners who are well equipped to play a positive role in society.
Our latest OFSTED report (March 2015) states that ‘Pupils behave well and feel safe. The staff and pupils have high expectations that all members of the school community treat each other with respect and consideration.
Year 5 recently visited Burrs Activity centre where they took part in many problem solving and team building activities. The children enjoyed taking part in orienteering, canoeing, raft building and many other fun activities! Watch the video and see for yourself!
