(Classes 4, 5 and 6)

Below is a list of activities that children in Key Stage 1 should undertake if their ‘bubble’ needs to isolate.  A physical work pack will also be sent home with children for periods of isolation.

  • Work will be set weekly on the school’s learning platform Purple Mash.
  • Reading – remember there are more than 400 titles available online within the school reading scheme Reading Planet.
  • Counting practice - in 1’s on and back to 100 (e.g 1,2,3,4...... 9,8,7,6)  - in 2’s on and back to 30 (e.g 2,4,6,8,10..... 8,6,4,2  -in 5’s on and back to 50 (e.g 5,10,15,20..... 15,10,5,0) -in 10’s on and back to 100 (e.g 20,30,40..... 50,40,30)
  • Times tables practice for Year 2 children- by the end of Y2 pupils should be able to recall their 2X, 5X, 10X multiplication tables.
  • Below is the word list for KS1 pupils. The aim is for children to read, spell and use these words correctly.

If your child is self isolating (not a whole school bubble closure) and you require a paper pack rather than the online resources, please contact school to let us know who is able to come and collect it.
