Limehurst After School Club Childcare Provision

The Limehurst After School Club is a school led and school operated after school club that provides childcare assistance. The club is based in Nursery and all children from Nursery to Year 6 may attend.

Limehurst After School Club will offer affordable child care provision during term time.

The Aims of our After School Club:

▪ To recognise children as individuals with their own particular needs and talents.
▪ To give children time and space to work at their own pace.
▪ To treat all children and their families with equal respect.

Activities:

Club offers many activities, ranging from board games, arts & crafts and sports. The children have access to the EYFS provision with both indoor and outdoor play opportunities. Limehurst believes that the club should provide a wide and varied curriculum for children and its aim is to make sure that every child's needs are met and they enjoy attending the club beyond the statutory school day.

After School Opening Times:

After School club is open Monday- Thursday, from end-of-school day to 5.15pm (collection from the School Nursery. Please ring the bell by the door opposite the portacabin).

Registration and Fees:

To register your child in our after school club please collect a registration pack from school office.

Fees are to be paid on a weekly basis via the School Gateway App. If your child attends after school club full time and you are paid monthly, it may be possible to arrange to pay on an agreed day of each month (as opposed to weekly). Please speak to the school office to discuss. If this is approved, it is important that you consistently pay on the agreed date to ensure monthly payment agreements can continue.
In the event that balances remain unpaid after 30 days, and no prior payment agreement is in place, we reserve the right to suspend access to the After School Club provision. During this suspension, your ability to book further sessions will be temporarily restricted until all outstanding amounts are settled. You will receive written notification to advise you of this.
Additionally, during any periods of suspension, if your child is not collected at their usual collection time, they will remain in the school office (rather than being taken to the after-school club). In such cases, we will promptly contact you to arrange collection

Prices:

From end-of-school day until 4.30pm - £5.00 per session
From end-of-school day, after 4.30pm and until 5.15pm - £6.50 per session (sibling discounts are available)

How to book a session:

All After School Club sessions must be booked via the School gateway app. Access to the after school club booking section is restricted until a registration form has been completed and returned to the school office. The booking deadline is 11.30am on the day of the session.
If your child has not been booked onto a session but they are not collected at their usual collection time, you will be promptly contacted via telephone to collect them.
Sessions are ‘released’ for booking on a termly basis. Sessions will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents will be informed when sessions have been released via text message and email. The current session capacity is 23 children.

Collection of Children:

Please ensure your child/children are collected on time after each session. If for any reason you are unable to collect your child you must inform the school office or an After School Manager (07494 403422 after 4pm). We cannot let your child leave with anyone other than you, without prior notice and/or security password. In the event of a child not being collected on time a late charge may be imposed

Behaviour:

After school club expects all children who attend to uphold the values and good behaviour that they show when at school. This ensures the club is enjoyed by all children and supports the club staff in their role and duty of care. Any poor behaviour will be logged and reported to parents. Please be aware that persistent poor behaviour could lead to the loss of your child’s place at club. 

Cancellations 

Parents can change or cancel their sessions up to 1 week prior to their child attending a specific session without incurring a charge. Any change or cancellation after this point is non-refundable.
